Since 2016, BASIO has been collaborating with Yumaju Coffee to create a coffee shop beyond a space to work and hang out. It is also a place to collaborate and share similar interest. This time, we work on different concept to bring the latest branch of Yumaju Coffee. The branch store reused an existing building—a colonial-styled house built in 1938, so we need to adjust the design to its original architecture. While maintaining the brand identity, the design allows a transformation into a modern tropical, mid- century styled coffee shop.
